Grandma’s orchid - Unframed Original

"Grandma's Orchid" (2025) is an original work by Carla Nicieza.

A composition inspired by the blooming orchids at my grandmother’s house and my recent trip to Japan, where I admired delicate ceramics and ink drawings. Once again, I use navy blue - a tone I have always loved deeply.

Created with ink and pastels on cotton paper.

One-of-a-kind painting - signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Dimensions: 29.7 cm x 42 cm (Unframed. Please note that, due to the handmade nature of the paper, the corners may not be perfectly straight)

Framing tip: We suggest professional framing with a cream-coloured passe-partout to highlight the natural edge of the paper. Also designed to fit A3 industrial frames.
