Nicieza Studios is all about joy, a creative space curated by Carla Nicieza. She draws her inspiration from nature, minimalism, raw materials and the Mediterranean - where she was born.

 

- I am a person with an endless desire to create and I love to be surrounded by beauty in all its shapes, which stems from a very deep of curiosity for objects, colour and space.

This is the reason why I chose Nicieza ¨Studios¨ -  it’s a place that allows transformation and constant growth in any direction.

 

My passion for art and fashion started from a very young age - my dad is a painter and antique restorer, so the patience for art and the last name ¨Nicieza¨ are gifts from him. 

After graduating from school, I took the opportunity to travel and I furthered my artistic career in Central London, where I studied design. After returning to Spain, I continued and completed an art degree in the University of Barcelona.

 

I’m now back in the Mediterranean and live on the Balearic Island of Mallorca. It feels like the perfect residency for an artist, as it has been for so many in the past.
